Matt Gragg is a seasoned photographer with a deep passion for nature and landscape photography. Originally from Colorado, he moved to Banff, Canada, in the early 1970s to study fine-art photography, mastering techniques like the Zone System and dye-transfer color prints. After earning a photojournalism degree from the University of Missouri, Matt’s career spanned graphic design and computer information architecture. Despite these changes, his commitment to capturing the intricate details of nature remains steadfast. Matt is dedicated to preserving the natural world and actively supports conservation efforts.

“My work is not just about capturing images—it’s about preserving moments in time that reflect the soul of the natural world. I hope to evoke a sense of wonder and responsibility, encouraging viewers to cherish and protect the landscapes that sustain us all.”
